The greatest challenge for modern, technologically complex vehicles is the balance between performance, economy, and environmental compatibility. Bump stops protect the shock absorbers and the suspension under very heavy loads. They are therefore an important factor for driving comfort and safety. These include accuracy of fit, dimensional accuracy, material quality, tensile strength, and degrees of hardness.
