This is a left-side front wishbone bracket with rubber mount (lower control arm mount) for the Mini Cooper. It bolts the lower control arm / wishbone to the chassis and includes a rubber mount to absorb vibration and ensure proper suspension geometry. Worn or damaged mounts cause play in suspension, misalignment, tyre wear and poor handling -- replacing this bracket restores proper front-lower arm mounting and ride stability.
